Sonora Winds’ mission is to help audiences discover the joy of classical music.

Sonora Winds brings classical music to life through concerts, interactions with composers and musicians, and live discussions. Sonora engages living composers to create music that then the group performs.  It adapts its performances to individual audiences by including educators and presenters in the planning process.

Sonora Wind’s focus is on introducing new classical music to vast audiences through intimate and engaging concerts. In introducing audiences to newly written classical music, Sonora Winds brings together listeners, musicians, and living composers.
